ReplyDeleteGreat pics, thanks for sharing! The info you have is outdated, the Insane UnKnowns haven't been at those locations for a long time. Today they have a much larger presence in the Chicago suburbs and have even branched out to other states. In the city, they are located in the Humboldt Park area mostly.
ReplyDeleteI grew up in Lincoln Park, my whole childhood and through high school. I knew almost every single IUK member even before the A/W section and this was in the 80's. Went to school with some, played sports with some other. They had factions on Orchard+Drummond, Halsted+Wrightwood, Lincoln+George, Southport+Wolfram and in the late 80's started a section on Ashland+Wrightwood
ReplyDeleteAlthough some IUKs hungout at Jonquils Park their was never a section on Lincoln+Wrightwood nor Wayne+Wrightwood. That's just not true
